Winners of Plastic Monster Quiz!
These lucky winners correctly guessed the number of plastic bags on our plastic monster during the Plastic Monster Campaign in March. The correct number: 170 --- what the average Singaporean uses in 100 days (which amounts to around 6 million per day nation-wide). The winners have won a $10 Co-Op voucher.

Rebate2Earth
Starting from February 4th 2008, plastic carriers taken from NUS CO-OP will be charged at 10 cents, proceeds will go to the Rebate2Earth Funds under NUSSU SAVE for future environmental projects. By this initiative, we hope to reduce plastic bag usage in NUS CO-OP by 50%.

As of 14/03/2008, rebate2earth has collected $305.20, indicating around 3052 plastic bags are used in a month, which is a dramatic drop from estimated 40,000 per month in coop.
